Textbook Narcissism? Agreed.

So... I have this now. And I love it a lot. It... kind of hurts. But it will not do that so much in a fw more days. Tomorrow and Sunday are going to be the fun, peely-gross days in which I shall continue to smell like A&D ointment and use the highly inappropriate phrase "time to lube up Tony!" whenever it feels a little dry.

Feel free to completely ignore this post. I am mostly just making it so that I have all my RP journals in one place to quickly reference. Because I weirdly... have a tendency to forget about some of them. Because, to no surprise, only a handful of these is in use right now.  Unfortunately, there is absolutely no order to these.

It is SUPER weird to me that I don't have a journal for a one, Captain James T. Kirk. Like, really, really weird. Surprising also that there is no journal for Malcom Reynolds. Or Howl from Howl's Moving Castle. Or Marik Ishatr from Yuugioh. Because I weirdly pretend to be him a lot. Give me time. I'm sure they'll be on here eventually. Also. Why do I always RP either dudes.... or sparkly unicorns?

In This Town We Call Home
So,  tattoo is healing nicely. Not complete yet, but it is getting there. I spent 7 hours under the needle on Tuesday and could take... no more. And also, we were tired. I go back on the 8th of November to get the rest of the colour done. I am super excited for it.  As you can see, I still have quite a bit more to colour and please excuse this horrible photo. But really, it's the line work that took up so much of the time.  That alone too about 5 hours. The colour I have done only too around 2 or so.

It is very large. And intense. But I love it. Bev calls me Tony!Boobs. Which I don't feel is inappropriate, really.

Other things?

Our Halloween party is going down on Friday the 28th. We decorated a bit for it this evening. Probably five times tonight we have gone into the kitchen and been like, "what the hell is this all over the --- oh, bloody footprints. Never mind." It's going to be awesome. Or at least that is the big hope. I still have to figure out how the hell to make my skirt. But you know.. I have a week. I'm sure it will work out alright.  Costume plan thus far is to be the crazy black swan from Back Swan.

Also. I am kinda sorta considering jumping in and signing up for Avengers Big Bang over at [info]avengers_bang. I already have like two ideas anyway. Might as well develop them if I can. Or work towards a larger goal. Pretty sure I could bust out a 15000 minimum if I really tried. I should also finish the ones I have started, of course.  My only problem is that I am super nervous writing for comic book fandom. I feel that if I don't know everything about everything, then I suck and am not worthy. And lets not play around here. I don't know everything by even a long shot.

Do You Mind If I.....?
So. I have now seen X-Men: First Class, twice now. [info]penguinfaery , [info]wastedbytime and I went downtown to Denver's Peoples Fair yesterday afternoon with [info]germany2germany and has lovely times walking around. I bought this lovely antique gold necklace with an airplane charm on it that I just love. [info]wastedbytime had some delicious delicious fresh-squeezed mango lemonade. And afterward, [info]germany2germany had expressed interest in seeing X-Men, which the three of us were happy to join her in watching, again.

As it is pretty typical of me, I have 'acquired' the score for the movie, and I am here to share it with you, or anyone else who might like to have it!

I especially love the track 'Sub Lift' from the album. But it is all pretty fantastic. :D Kinda like the whole movie, actually.

Trailer Treasure
I am not sure whether or not some of you are aware of my deep love for score music. I am weirdly hung up on trailer music... I wouldn't say in-particular, but hey. I have a massive collection of trailer music that I jam to like a weirdo.

My most recent acquisition being the song Prelude by Pusher Music, which is used in the trailer for Transformers 3. A movie I will have you know, I'm sort of on the fence over how much I even care. But you know... the music in the trailer is pretty bad ass. And I now have it, and you should probably have it too!

ETA: While I am at it, and on the subject of score music here is the opening title song to Game of Thrones.

When The Worlds Fade Away - A Tom & B'Elanna Fanmix
I've had this chillin on my computer for some time now. I thought I would upload/share it with the class, on the off-chance that anyone actually cares. Or, in case anyone just wants to download some free music.

I don't think I've kept it much of a secret that I'm kind of fangirl-exploding over Voyager. Again. It is also no real secret that I love-love-love Tom Paris & B'Elanna. So, here is the fanmix I made for them! (That I had a lot of fun making graphics for so, prepare for lots of them under the cut!)

LCARS INTERFACE -- LJ THEME
So. I have been wanting to make this theme for forever. I started in on it months ago. Never finished it. And then rediscovered it. And now.... am pleased enough to both use it, and share with the class!

This is a [Flexible Squares] Journal Theme that anyone is free to use. Its existence was inspired by, what I hope it quite obviously, the LCARS Interface used throughout the Star Trek series. If I get super inspired, there may be variations of this theme to come in the future. But for now, it's just the one. But I hope that you all enjoy it.

I will warn you though, it works best in Firefox. The curves do not show up in Chrome. I have no idea about IE/Safari. I'm looking into it. But frankly... I use Firefox, so I'm not in all that big of a rush to solve it. Please forgive me.

Preview - though you will note that it is also the theme that I am using currently:
